How it works
Bedding, simplified.
We left the duvet cover behind. Now the whole duvet washes as easily as a sheet, in three simple steps.

Lay it on the bed.
No cover, no corners to fight. Spread it out, smooth it over, done.

Wash it whole.
The entire duvet goes into your machine. Nothing to unbutton, nothing to re-stuff.

Dry and repeat.
Tumble dry low or hang it up. A fresh bed whenever you want one, without the weekend chore.
The old way vs the Tsukiro way
Why we left the cover behind.
The duvet cover has barely changed in a hundred years. We started over, inspired by the Japanese habit of keeping bedding fresh every week.
More steps, every single time.
- Arms inside the cover, wrestling it on
- Buttons and zips that shift and bunch
- The cover gets washed, the duvet rarely does
- Cleaning the duvet itself is a whole separate job
One piece. Wash the whole thing.
- Coverless: spread it, smooth it, done
- No buttons, no zips, nothing shifting inside
- The whole duvet fits standard home machines
- As easy to keep fresh as a fitted sheet

Questions, answered
That's right. The Tsukiro Duvet is a duvet and cover in one, so you wash it whole.
It's designed for standard household machines. For King size, check your drum has enough room, or use a large laundromat machine.
Sleep on it for up to 90 nights. If you're not happy, email support@tsukiro.com and we'll arrange a return, an exchange or a refund. See our Refund Policy.
It's made to be washed regularly. Follow the care label, skip fabric softener, and wash it about as often as your sheets.
It dries quickly on a low tumble-dry setting or hanging on a rack, so it's back on your bed the same day.
